Nothing appears on a screen until a moderator approves it. Every photo and every event is looked at by a person in your own organization first, and nothing is ever shown to other members.
Hypeboard is a submission and display tool operated by Snail Engineering for organizations such as churches, nonprofits, schools, community groups and workplaces. By signing in or submitting anything, you agree to what follows.
What you may submit
Submit photos and event details that belong at your organization and that you have the right to share. If other people are in a photo, submit it only if they are happy to be on a screen in the building.
What is not allowed
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content. Specifically, do not submit:
- Nudity, sexual content, or anything sexualizing a minor.
- Harassment, bullying, threats, or content targeting a person.
- Hate speech or content demeaning anyone for who they are — race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or age.
- Graphic violence, self-harm, or content promoting either.
- Anything illegal, or promoting illegal activity, drugs, or alcohol to minors.
- Someone else’s private information — phone numbers, addresses, or anything they have not chosen to share.
- Spam, advertising, or content unrelated to your organization.
Every submission is reviewed by a moderator at your organization before it appears on any screen, so content that breaks these rules does not reach an audience. Submitting it anyway can get your account or your address blocked without notice.
Your content stays yours
You keep ownership of the photos you submit. By submitting one, you give your organization permission to display it on its screens and to keep it while it is in rotation. You can withdraw that at any time by deleting your account, or by asking for removal at support@snailengineering.com.
Moderation
Moderators decide what appears on their screens. There is no obligation to display any submission, and a submission can be rejected or taken down at any time without an explanation. Accounts are approved by an organization’s moderators before they can submit, and access can be removed the same way.
Your account
Sign-in links and codes sent to your email are yours alone — do
not pass them on. If you think someone else has access to your account,
write to support@snailengineering.com. You can delete your account from
Settings at /app/ at any time.
Availability and liability
Hypeboard is provided as-is, without a guarantee that it will be available or that content will be displayed at any particular time. To the extent the law allows, Snail Engineering is not liable for indirect or incidental loss arising from its use. Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot be limited.
